Since the birth of the United States over 200 years ago, more than 42 million American men and women have served in times of conflict. The nation owes a tremendous amount of gratitude and respect to these men and women. A group of people here in the Sanborn area have established a park, a site of honor, to illuminate and propagate that respect to the American Service Veteran.

This Park will honor and remember the generations of United States Forces who have served and protected our country and its freedom.

A group of friends here from the area came up with an idea of how to commemorate and honor the veteran. The story of service to our country does not end with the fallen, or living alike.  So they thought, and planned and implemented this Veterans Park to grasp and convey the cherished memory of the lost, and the proper and fitting respect for those who remained and for all who have served.

View the images and story on these web pages, and come here to visit and share the feeling that exists and permeates here. Read what you can do to participate and help with the Sanborn Veterans Park.  Have your name, if you are a veteran, and/or offer a friend’s name for engraving (modest charge) on one of the stones.  Read the terms and procedure and contact us if you Wish.  We here attest to a lasting measure of their devotion.  A tribute to all of them – but never enough to properly convey what we feel for them in our hearts.
