Visitors, Family, and Friends.

Greetings to those of you who are a friend, family member, or just a visitor to this site and to the park itself. We feel that not only is it important for us and other folks to hear the stories from veterans themselves. However we feel it is just as important to be able to share the stories of family and friends too. Many of us as family and friends, have stories of our own that would help another individual better understand how someone serving our country impacts families and friends alike.

This post is a safe place to share those stories that we have as a family member or friend of a veteran. Please feel free to share your story in the comments of this post about just what you have experienced, seen, felt and or feel, or overcome, plus whatever may be on your heart with this subject matter. Thank you for supporting those who have served.

Remember that all of our stories matter for….->

  1. This is a beautiful park that has some nice stonework, and it is so wonderful to see such a small town thriving in this day and age. but to also come together to erect such an awesome park that gives honor to all members of the armed forces in our country. I am glad that this place is here, and I am able to scope it out and think of my own family that has served in the armed forces. thank you, Sanborn, for doing this!

    Just Loved It❤❤❤❤
We visited with our cousins in early October, 2021 and got the opportunity to see this beautiful Veterans Memorial in person. We loved the layout and ease in finding our family members who served their country so proudly. There was a sense of peace as we sat there……remembering those who were no longer with us. Thank you for a job well done.
